How it Works
1. Project
You can email us the plans, specifications, and bid invitation in PDF format or through a Dropbox link, Google Drive, or any other website that allows us to review them. When you forward us the plans through email, please specify whether you are bidding on the entire project or just a few trades so that we may analyze the drawings accordingly.
2. Reviewing & Approval
We’ll go over the plans in depth with you and present you with a fee proposal for your approval. We will begin work only after your approval, and there are no charges for reviewing the plans.
- Software & Format:
Our work would be on an Editable Excel Sheet – if necessary, we may utilize your template or include your firm details on the Estimate/Proposal. We use PlanSwift, BlueBeam, and On Screen Takeoff (OST) to do quantity takeoff. We mostly use PlanSwift.
We would gladly give Software files as well as Markups/color drawings (as needed). - Estimating Fee:
We do not have fixed fees; we charge each job, but our rates are kept affordable to ensure that our clients can bid on a larger number of projects with minimal costs.
Estimating fees can range from $150 to $250, $350 to $550, and so on. We do jobs for as little as $75 or $100, depending on the size and scope of the project.
3. Labor/Materials Takeoff
The professional quantity surveyor will complete the takeoff on the drawings for your specified trade using the software and prepare it in an Editable Excel sheet.
4. Quality Assurance
When the work is completed. Our Quality Assurance department will double-check the work to ensure that nothing has been overlooked. Our Quality Assurance department will also ensure that work is completed in accordance with your specifications. We choose and prepare the estimate basis, assess risk and give contingencies, and finally analyze the entire estimate to assure the finest quality.
5. Submission & Deliverables
Our team will provide the work to you in an editable Excel spreadsheet format. As long as you provide us with your template or deliverable requirements, we guarantee timely delivery of the work. We are open to using your preferred template without any objections.
6. Feedback
We are eagerly anticipating your response and are prepared to support you with any necessary adjustments.
Fees & Turnaround Time
- We are committed to offering high-quality services while staying within our customers’ budgets.
- We are quite flexible in our rates because we are always looking for a long-term connection rather than a one-time cost. Repeated work is more important to us than high charges for a single project.
- We charge on a per project/plan basis. Our costs vary depending on the amount and scope of the project, but our standard fees are $250, $350, $450, $550, and we even perform jobs for $100.
- You can pay us per project or on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis.
- We can complete the jobs in 2 to 3 business days.
- We guarantee you that you will never have a problem with quality or turnaround with us.
